厦门高崎国际机场位于厦门岛东北端，是中国大陆华东地区重要的区域性航空枢纽。厦门翔业集团旗下的元翔（厦门）国际航空港股份有限公司是厦门高崎国际机场的运营管理机构。厦门高崎国际机场自1983年通航以来，逐步发展成为中国东南沿海重要的区域性航空枢纽。目前，厦门高崎国际机场飞行区等级为4E级，拥有T3、T4两座候机楼，1条3400米长的跑道和2条平行滑行道及10条联络道，可起降B747－8等大型飞机。停机坪总面积80万平方米，拥有96个停机位，现有厦门航空、山东航空、东方航空、春秋航空四家基地航空公司。从“小航站”到“大空港”，厦门高崎国际机场的发展速度让人惊叹： 1983年10月22日厦门高崎国际机场正式通航； 2009年晋级“千万级”机场； 2010年，首次跨入世界百强机场行列； 2014年突破2000万客流…… 旅客吞吐量从100万到1000万，厦门高崎国际机场用了19年的时间；从1000万到2000万，仅用了5年时间。年旅客吞吐量突破2000万，标志着厦门高崎国际机场的运行规模及保障能力实现了新的历史跨越，彰显了厦门城市经济发展的强大生命力和综合实力。 2014年12月28日，厦门高崎国际机场T4候机楼正式启用，自此开启双楼运行新时代。 2015年12月，“厦门国际航空港股份有限公司”正式更名为“元翔（厦门）国际航空港股份有限公司”（以下简称“元翔厦门空港”）。自此，元翔厦门空港正式融入翔业集团旗下的“元翔”品牌家族。 2017年9月，元翔厦门空港出色地完成了厦门金砖国家领导人第九次会晤专包机保障任务。作为此次会晤的“大厦之门”航空门户“守门人”，元翔厦门空港实现了会晤保障“安全运行零事故，精准保障零差错，真情服务零投诉”的目标，出色表现赢得了外国元首高度赞誉和主办方的高度肯定。 2019年，厦门高崎国际机场在时刻资源达到极限的情况下，全年完成运输起降19.29万架次；全年旅客吞吐量突破2741万人次；全年累计货邮吞吐量超33万吨，成为国内最繁忙的单跑道机场。如今，厦门高崎国际机场已形成覆盖中国大陆各主要城市及港、澳、台地区，连接东南亚、东北亚，通达欧、美、澳三大洲的航线网络，与境内外112个城市的118座机场通航，已开通航线161条，成为厦门与世界交流的重要窗口和桥梁。未来，元翔厦门空港将继续秉持“超越客户期望，创造最具人文关怀的客户体验”的发展追求，深化打造具有闽台海洋文化特色的人文机场，努力成为国内机场业引领体制机制变革，践行精益管理，独具品牌魅力的最佳机场运营商，为推动国家“一带一路”战略及厦门经济特区高质量发展做出更大贡献！
