Company Introduction 发行人前身为科学出版社，由中国科学院编译局与龙门书局于1954年8月合并成立，为中科院所属事业单位。1993年8月恢复使用"龙门书局"副牌。2007年3月29日，科学有限取得了国家工商行政管理总局核发的注册号为1000001003152号的《企业法人营业执照》，企业类型为一人有限责任公司（法人独资），注册资金为人民币18,822.89万元。 本公司的主要业务包括图书出版业务、期刊业务及出版物进口业务。本公司图书出版主要涵盖科学（S）、技术（T）、医学（M）、教育（E）、社科（H）等领域。本公司图书品种丰富，2011年出书品种已突破10,000种（含重印书）；作为中国最大的综合性科技出版机构，本公司也参与了国家众多重大图书出版工程，公司入选"十三五"时期（2016-2020年）国家重点图书、音像、电子出版物出版规划项目34个。 2011年5月10日，发起人召开创立大会，作出了设立本公司的决议。北京市工商局于2011年5月12日核发了注册号为110000010235243的《企业法人营业执照》。2011年6月15日，本公司取得北京市工商局换发的公司名称变更后的《企业法人营业执照》，本公司名称变更为"中国科技出版传媒股份有限公司"。
