Company Introduction 2000年11月1日，阜康国投、新天国际、北中地产、亚龙湾酒店、永威泰公司、伊力特公司及新源旅行社就拟发起设立新疆天山天池旅游股份有限公司签订了《发起人协议》。2001年1月12日，经自治区人民政府《关于同意设立新疆天山天池旅游股份有限公司的批复》（新政函[2001]3号文）批准，以阜康国投为主要发起人，联合新天国际、北中地产、亚龙湾酒店、永威泰公司、伊力特公司及新源旅行社以发起方式成立，总股本6,000万股。2001年1月18日，新疆维吾尔自治区工商局核准了新疆天山天池旅游股份有限公司的设立，核发了注册号为650000040000064的《企业法人营业执照》。2001年9月7日，经国家工商行政管理总局批准，公司名称由“新疆天山天池旅游股份有限公司”变更为“西域旅游开发股份有限公司。” 公司的主营业务为旅游资源的开发经营，通过对景区景点的开发，为游客提供旅游服务，主要包括旅游客运、高山索道观光、游船观光、温泉酒店、旅行社等其他服务。目前，公司经营的景区包括天池景区和五彩湾温泉景区。公司在天池景区提供旅游客运、游船观光、索道观光、演艺等旅游综合服务；在五彩湾景区提供温泉娱乐、酒店、会议等综合服务。公司下属子公司天池国旅组织游客到天池景区和五彩湾温泉游览，同时承接游客其他旅游服务。
