Company Introduction 苏州银行股份有限公司前身为江苏东吴农村商业银行股份有限公司，系于2004年12月17日经中国银行业监督管理委员会《关于江苏东吴农村商业银行股份有限公司开业的批复》（银监复【2004】211号）批准设立的农村商业银行，并经江苏省苏州工商行政管理局核准领取了注册号为320500000039152号《企业法人营业执照》。本行经中国银行业监督管理委员会江苏银监局批准持有G1031305H0004号金融许可证。2010年9月28日，经中国银监会批准，江苏东吴农村商业银行正式更名为苏州银行股份有限公司。 2011年3月17日经《中国银监会关于调整苏州银行股份有限公司监管隶属关系的批复》（银监复【2011】82号）同意苏州银行股份有限公司监管隶属关系由农村中小金融机构监管序列调整为中小商业银行监管序列。 机构设置上，截至2013年末，本行目前共有23个职能部室，下辖苏州分行、宿迁分行、淮安分行、常州分行4家分行、城区支行、园区直属支行、高新区直属支行、昆山直属支行、张家港直属支行、常熟直属支行、吴江直属支行、太仓直属支行8家直属支行，共有营业网点127家。另外在江苏省宿迁市沭阳县、泗阳县、泗洪县、宿豫区发起设立了四家村镇银行，目前经营状况良好。 作为苏州地区唯一一家具备独立法人资格的城商行，本行始终秉承“服务中小，情系市民，为区域经济发展做贡献”的理念，坚持“以小为美、以民唯美”的战略思想，积极探索中小城市商业银行独具特色的发展道路。截至2018年12月31日，本行资产总额为3,110.86亿元，贷款及垫款总额为1,413.27亿元，存款总额为1,926.75亿元，股东权益总额为245.86亿元。 本行经营范围包括：吸收公众存款；发放短期、中期和长期贷款；办理国内外结算；办理票据承兑与贴现；代理发行、代理兑付、承销政府债券；买卖政府债券、金融债券；从事同行拆借；代理收付款项及代理保险业务；提供保管箱服务；外汇存款；外汇贷款；外汇汇款；外币兑换；结汇、售汇；资信调查、咨询和见证业务；经中国银行业监督管理委员会批准的其他业务。（依法须经批准的项目，经相关部门批准后方可开展经营活动）
